As more organizations and communities collaborate, how to measure, evaluate, and use data from community networks can be a challenging endeavor. PARTNER is the leading tool for evaluating cross-sector community networks. Used by over 2500 communities, it is the only tool that collects data through a validated, yet customizable survey that is linked to an easy to use, accessible network analysis tool. The tool makes the difficult task of social network analysis survey design and analysis simple and straightforward. The data collected through PARTNER can help you assess a network’s strength and impact, and make evidence-based decisions for effectively managing and improving your network’s outcomes.
Visible Network Labs, formerly the Center on Network Science, is hosting a 2 day workshop for both new and long-time users of the PARTNER tool who want to build their capacity and learn more of the ins and outs of network evaluation, data analysis, and translating data to practice from the PARTNER team and fellow PARTNER users.
Day 1 Workshop Focus
Participants will learn the initial steps of using the PARTNER tool including how to bound your network, set up and customize your PARTNER survey, collect data, and engage in activities to practice using PARTNER.
Day 2 Workshop Focus
Participants will learn to utilize PARTNER data including how to analyze and interpret your network data, using this data to improve your network, and ways to visualize and communicate your network’s impact to stakeholders.
Please note attendees must bring their own PC laptop.
